For almost 15 years, I have worked with framework for students learning in different senses at University of Southern Denmark (SDU).
For the last 4-5 years, I have been a Project Manager for a strategic focus area known as Student in focus. This project is initiated by the Executive Board of SDU and applies to all programmes.
I have motivated and coordinated more than twenty sub-projects dealing with Student Learning, Student Life, Student Information, Incentives for Teachers and Staff Skills Development.
Currently I am working to ensure the transition from project to integration in the organisation. At the same time I participate in the university´s vision project SDU 2030. The vision is to prepare SDU for future requirements, framework and conditions.

In April 2010 I took a new step towards my roots, when I started to work in University Properties of Finland Ltd. I have been responsible for the R&D activities of company. The most interesting projects have focused on the development of places, spaces and services for learning: Future Learning Environment program (2011:4- 2015:3) involving university campuses in Finland, and Campus Retrofit -project (2014-2016:3) in collaboration with Nordic Universities. My dream is to widen this development work in EU level.
The tactics for implementing the research results is done by small scale demonstration projects. A typical demonstration case is co-designed in spring, co-constructed and co-furnished during summer and taken into use in fall. We use diverse ways to collect data about the impacts of the changes made, key performance indicators like usage rates, and use patterns, indoor air conditions etc. are included.
My interest is in development: the learning, working and living environments and the change process in different levels. I am happy to share my knowledge with inspiration and eagerness.
